... We identified 14 [genomic] loci associated with the adverse effects of the COVID-19 vaccines in the Japanese population. HLA allele association analysis revealed that various HLA alleles were associated with these adverse effects; HLA-DQA1*03:01 and HLA-A*11:01 were reliably associated with the adverse events."
Per Table 2, chest pain, abdominal discomfort, muscle pain, and urticeria were amongst the adverse effects that occurred in recipients of the BNT162b1 vaccine at a significant rate.
